Chile con Queso
Ingredients:
- 1 pound California chiles, roasted and peeled
- 1 pound poblano chiles, roasted and peeled
- 1/2 sliced onion
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Cilantro to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Knorr seasoning to taste
- 1 can tomato sauce
- Chihuahua or Muenster cheese, grated
Preparation:
Once the chiles are roasted, peel, devein, wash and cut. Then fry the onion with olive oil and add the chopped chiles and tomato. Fry it a little more. Add the tomato sauce, some water, salt, pepper and Knorr. At the end, add chopped cilantro and grated cheese. It is very tasty with Chihuahua or Muenster. Let it stand before serving.
